Golf’s birthplace & oldest championship

Today we visit Golf’s birthplace in St Andrews, Scotland. Despite the rain, it’s a beautiful course. Tomorrow, we drive south to observe the final round of the game’s oldest championship: The Open.

The Open 1

Well rested, it’s delightful to chat with the bed and breakfast owner over a traditional English breakfast. The day is spent walking the Royal Birkdale course, following our favorite players. It’s truly an enjoyable experience to witness American Jordan Spieth win the Championship!
